As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential customers. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies to engage prospective clients. Your primary goal is to create a robust sales pipeline by setting up qualified meetings and demos for the sales team.
Lead Generation: Research and identify potential customers through various channels, inbound and outbound, including cold calling, emailing, social media, and networking.
Qualifying Leads: Engage with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and budget, ensuring they align with the company's product or service offerings.
Outbound Prospecting: Conduct high-volume outreach to potential clients through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and interactions in the CRM system. Track and update the progress of leads through the sales pipeline.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, improve lead generation strategies, and ensure alignment in targeting.
Scheduling Meetings: Arrange and schedule meetings or demos between qualified leads and the sales team.
Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the company's products, services, and value proposition to effectively communicate with prospects.
Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, lead generation, and conversion rates.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
