Summary:

We are looking for a Design Intern to support our product design team with a strong focus on UI/UX and design research, along with operational tasks that enhance collaboration and efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about user experience, design research, and design thinking and wants hands-on experience across the full product design process.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with Product & Design Research

• Conduct competitive research and analyze industry trends to inform design decisions.

• Gather and synthesize user feedback, surveys, and usability test insights.

• Research best practices in UX/UI design, including accessibility and interaction patterns.

• Assist in benchmarking reports by analyzing competitors’ design approaches.

• Summarize research findings into clear insights and recommendations for the team.

Supporting Operational Tasks in Design & Product Function

• Support product discovery activities, helping with documenting and organising finding into structured insights libraries.

• Assist in organizing design documentation, UI libraries, and research findings.

• Help prepare materials for stakeholder presentations and team meetings.

Contributing to UI/UX Design Tasks

• Create low-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and visual assets to support design initiatives.

• Assist in refining user flows, layouts, and interaction designs.

• Support UI polish by adjusting typography, spacing, and visual consistency.

• Participate in design critiques and iterate on designs based on feedback.

• Collaborate with designers and product managers to refine responsive and user-friendly interfaces.

Required Skills:

• Basic UX/UI Knowledge – Understanding of user flows, design principles, and usability best practices.

• Product & Design Research – Ability to assist with competitive analysis, UX research, and benchmarking.

• Documentation & Organization – Detail-oriented with the ability to structure research findings and design assets.

• Basic Knowledge of Design Tools – Familiarity with design tools like Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and collaboration.

• Collaboration & Communication – Great communicator comfortable working with designers, and product managers in a fast-paced environment.
